In a star-studded evening, it was truly a delight to get to photograph such influential figures at the 28th Annual NAACP Theater Awards.

The event took place at the beautiful Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and was hosted by the exceptional, Emmy Winning Talk Show Host, Loni Love.

As I anxiously made my way to the red carpet I couldn't wait to see who would be walking down it. The Theater Awards would be honoring individuals such as, Viola Davis, Condola Rashad and Lillias White.

In this inspirational salute to Black Theater, the NAACP has worked rigorously in their committed endeavor to advance justice for African Americans. Through the creative arts, they have given a voice to people-of-color and have shown a light on the truth through journeys of triumph, heartbreaking struggles and beautiful love stories.
